Yngwie J. Malmsteen: Guitar Genius

Yngwie Malmsteen, born Lars Johann Yngve Lannerback, is swedish guitarist for his solo band. This guy is probably one of the best neo-classical guitarist in my opinion, and is commonly respected for his use of the harmonic minor scale, fast picked guitar licks, and sweep picking at remarkable speeds. Yngwie's debut solo album "Rising Force" consists of eight tracks of incredible guitar shredding and impressive keyboard solos. Yngwie's preferred guitar is a white fender stratocaster along with favorable marshall amps. This video will show you how much Yngwie knows how to shred.

DBZ guitars : A new line of guitars

"It's a new day" said master guitar designer Dean B. Zelinsky, when he introduced his new guitar brand back in 2008 during the Dean Namm guitar show. Spectators gathered around as Mr. Zelinsky revealed his new guitars to the world. Consisting of a mahogany body and neck, ebony rosewood fretboard, and the powerful combination of EMG 81/85 pickups. With your choice of a floyd rose bridge or a standard bridge, the new guitars proved to be a true innovation for all around guitar designing for generations to come.
The guitar comes in many striking designs, from v shapes to standard les paul shapes or the very interesting bird of prey design. The bird of prey design comes from the previous dean guitar ml design also made by Dean Zelinsky.

First Post, Finally.

Well, for starters on music theory, how to figure out the notes in a certain key. You start by picking out a root note, any note you want it to be, then you follow a pattern. That pattern is you start at the root note then skip a whole step, which means skip a fret, another whole step, then a half step, three more whole steps, and a half step. If you followed the pattern right then you will end up in the same root note but in a higher octave. That's the first lesson stay updated for more to come.
