First Post, Finally.
Well, for starters on music theory, how to figure out the notes in a certain key. You start by picking out a root note, any note you want it to be, then you follow a pattern. That pattern is you start at the root note then skip a whole step, which means skip a fret, another whole step, then a half step, three more whole steps, and a half step. If you followed the pattern right then you will end up in the same root note but in a higher octave. That's the first lesson stay updated for more to come.

I need to see much more meat within your posts. This is a poor start...
ReplyDeleteSo, I'm a beginner at playing the guitar, I have an acoustic and I can only play like power chords; but I want to be able to solo like the lead guitarist in any metal band. Weird and unexpected, but true. I know it will take years of practice, but if I have any questions about it, will your blog help me?
